Matthias began his dancing career with Latin American and standard dances at the age of six. It was in these dance types that he enjoyed his first successes in various tournaments and became champion of Berlin several times. He also gained his first stage experience in the children's revues at the Friedrichstadtpalast. At the age of twelve, Matthias started to experiment with other dance styles and discovered his passion for breakdancing and hip-hop.
Now he teaches students in exactly the same style, and they gain massive benefit from his previous dance experiences. So, apart from the basics of breakdancing, various power moves and other acrobatic elements, Matthias teaches his students how important it is to optimally train their bodies in terms of strength and flexibility. He helps them to find a well-grounded style of their own and passes on the experience that he gathered on numerous stages:
