Hip-hop originated as a lifestyle in the 1970s with the "ghetto kids" of the streets of New York. It therefore includes various activities, such as breakdancing, rap and graffiti. Hip-hop, also known as street dance because of its origin, is, ultimately, not an independent dance style. It consisted of various street dance forms, including B-boying, electric boogie, popping and locking, and later styles such as krumping and house.
The street dance courses at our dance school differ from hip-hop in that, in addition to the aforementioned styles, other dance forms, such as both house and modern and jazz elements, can be incorporated. The diversity depends on the training and style of the coach.
